The design for Phase 1 is set. But the corridor is long, and there's still real room to shape what happens along it: where a bench goes, whether a stretch could host a market, what your block actually needs.

Community Survey

The Lowline is a 1.7 mile linear park taking shape along the historic rail corridor through the center of the Charleston peninsula. Construction is underway, with Phase 1 opening in fall 2027.

Now we are planning what happens in the park once it opens: the classes, markets, concerts, kids' activities, and everyday gatherings that will make it a place people return to.

This survey is about programming and community interest. It takes about five minutes, and your answers will help shape what the Lowline offers and how we tell people about it.
